Chana -
Chana Delhi prices traded lower over the previous day by 0.39% at Rs. 5043/quintal.
Chana Delhi (MP Line) traded higher by 0.51% at Rs. 4925/quintal.
The downtrend in prices continues since last few days due to higher crop arrivals coupled with sluggish demand.
Meanwhile, the demand for chana dal and besan is weak at major consuming centers.
NAFED Chana procurement in India reached 7.92 Lakh MT.
Due to delays in the Govt. chana procurement in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, farmers are selling aggressively at lower prices.
Price Outlook -
Chana Delhi will remain bearish in the very short term unless we see a daily close above Rs. 5130. Prices may gain strength when NAFED procurement starts actively in Rajasthan and MP.
