I love the design of this laptop it confidently screams performance a mile away with the intimidating aggressive exhaust grill which vents out heat from the ROG exclusive mobile 3D Vapor Chamber for increased cooling performance and the transformer like armor titanium and plasma copper color scheme. It has a backlit anti-ghosting gaming keyboard with 30-key rollover for precise command and control in battle. This 17 inch beast weighs 4 kilos and will fit in an ROG Shuttle II backpack which we will feature in another video. We bought this G752VM-RB71 from Benstore PC for PHP 79,900, ($US 1,600.00) they had the unit in stock and delivered it the next day.

What I appreciate about the G752 is the ability to upgrade the RAM and Hard disks with 2 NVME M.2 PCIe slots and 1 2.5” inch SATA III Hard Drive you just have to remove the rubber cover on the back and unscrew one screw.
The Samsung 950 Pro M.2 SSD made this G752VM Beast even beastier booting up in just 12 seconds! Purchased the Samsung 950 Pro V-NAND SSD M.2 at Villman Computers in Glorietta Mall Makati for PHP 19,988 ($US 400.00).

The technician at Villman removed the original 1TB hard disk with the OS, so that we could do a fresh install of Windows 10 on the 950 Pro. Let me save you guys a lot of headaches and time. Do not do a fresh install of Windows 10 on the 950 Pro, long story short it will cause delays to your boot time and Windows 10 will not be able to install updates as it will encounter an error message. This has to do with setting the SATA options to ACHI instead of RAID in order to recognize the 950 Pro to do the installation to begin with.

Instead the best option is to clone the original 1TB HDD onto the Samsung 950 Pro with the Samsung Migration Tool. This cloning process will take less than 15 minutes and then you can remove the original HD and save it as a backup. The G752 booting on the 950 Pro only takes 12 seconds.
