Two EMD SD70ACe engines are the heritage bookend power of a speedy, three car Union Pacific Family Day Passenger Special on the Belvidere subdivision.
The UP was running three "flip" trips out of the Illinois Railway Museum in Union, Illinois for employees and invited guests. The train would depart the museum tracks onto the main line with UP 1982 leading. It would then run west about 15 minutes and stop. Then the crew in UP 1995 would run it back east to the museum.
