Paradigm Drift: How and Why the Shift Gets Captured

Core themes include paradigm shift versus paradigm drift, rift / drift / grift / shift, the futures of Metamodern Renaissance, Neo-Tribal Oases, Technocratic Plateau, and Reactionary Ragnarok, and the deeper game-theoretic problem beneath them all: when do actors deny or confront reality, defect or cooperate, and what kinds of worlds do those repeated choices produce?

The talk also applies this framework concretely to prestige ecosystems, liminal and “sensemaking” culture, the Fliminal Web, conference dynamics, left fragmentation, and personal life orientation. The conclusion is simple but demanding: if we want an omni-win future, many outcomes remain possible, but only one deserves to be called a solution — confrontation, cooperation, and coherence together.
