The family business that preceded the current Peugeot companies was established in 1810, making it the oldest car company in the world.

In 1889, they built their first steam-powered car, followed by gasoline-powered models in 1890. By the early 20th century, Peugeot became a pioneer in the automobile industry.

Post-WWII, they expanded rapidly, launching iconic models like the 203, 404, and 504. In 1976, Peugeot acquired Citroën, forming PSA Group. They later bought Opel and Vauxhall in 2017.

Now part of Stellantis, Peugeot continues innovating in electric vehicles and now focuses on electric and hybrid vehicles, with models like the e-208 and 3008 Hybrid. The brand remains a major player in Europe and beyond, continuing its legacy of innovation, performance, and style.
