Delicious pancakes so easy to prepare. You will love this recipe!
3/4 bread (or AP) flour
1/4 cup whole wheat flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 stick butter melted and cooled
1 cup kefir
1 egg
Combine dry ingredients and set aside
Combine wet ingredients and mix well.
Add dry ingredients and mix very gently!
Just enought to incorporate them. Do over mix!
In a pan warmed to med-high coated with light olive oil place dolops of batter into pan.
Watch temp of pan as not to burn.
As edges start to cool add small pats of butter to pan (optional).
Turn when bubbles develop in batter.
Enjoy with your favorite 🍁 maple syrup.
