How to Add Items to a Steam Workshop Collection - Faster, Easier, and Better Way to Edit Collections

Описание: In this short tutorial I will show you how to edit a workshop collection quicker than the traditional way. Unfortunately the default way to add assets and mods to a Steam Collection is clunky and annoying. Luckily, I've come across a trick that will help you add items to a Workshop Collection faster and easier.

This method is much easier and is fairly simple. In the video tutorial I'm using the Google Chrome browser but this trick should work on any of the major browsers. We are simply going to inspect the scroll bar next to the asset/mod selection on the edit screen. It is important that you right click exactly on the scroll bar, otherwise this method might not work properly. We are then going to find the style tab in the inspect console. If we scroll all the way down on the style tab, we see a series of boxes. We need to change the Y dimension from the default 200 pixels to something larger. I prefer 800 pixels. Double click on the number to change it and then hit enter to save the new dimension.

Congratulations! You've just made it easier to pick and choose which assets and mods you want to put into your collection! Now this trick does make it faster and better but there are some things to remember here.

As soon as you stop clicking on the plus signs to add the items to the collection, the webpage is going to want to refresh. This will send you back to the top of the mod/asset list and will also reset the size of the window back to default. You'll have to go in and redo the method outlined above to get the window back to being larger. The trick is to select your items quickly before the page refreshes. However, with the larger window it is a lot easier to read all of the names so you should find this little trick helpful!
