The trip started on 3 January 2025 ( while editing the years were written as 2024 basic human error 🤪)
We boarded the bus from Kashmir Gate at 8:30 PM. The weather was completely foggy. There was fog all around and minimal visibility.
Day 1 - At 8:30, the bus dropped us at Kasol . After having our breakfast in Kasol, we went to the Holy place Manikaran. Manikaran is a place where you can find this spirituality and beauty of nature at the same time. We went to the Mighty Shiva Temple. After that we ,went Gurudwara Sahib Manikaran. Unfortunately, our phone battery was dead at that time because we had been travelling since the previous night.
After visiting this spiritual place, we went to Kalga Village, where we planned to do some trekking. At 2:30 PM, we reached Kalga. We had lunch, and by 4:00 PM, we restarted our trek. We trekked until nature allowed us. The views were mesmerizing: the shiny white mountains and the breezy cold.
Day 2 -I woke up at 7:00 AM; the chilly winds were biting my face, but at the same time, my eyes were enjoying the beauty of nature.. Our trek was scheduled for Bunbuni, but due to black ice, it was canceled. We then discovered a new place, Kutla, and decided to trek.. At the beginning, there was a little snow, but by the end, half of our legs were in the snow.
The day went really well, and we ended it with a campfire.
