Create edible balloons using hemisphere molds and candy coating. Once the molded chocolate pieces have set up, warm the edges and press together. Easily create your own balloons using white candy coating and any oil-based food color. We used Colour Mill to color our chocolate used for the balloons. When stacking the chocolate balloons it is best for each to have three points of contact (except the bottom balloons) either with the cake and/or other balloons. This ensures that each one is sturdy and easily held in place. Try out this technique on one of your cakes and share it with us!
