Camano Island is a beautiful little Island located at about 1 hour drive up north-west from Seattle. It is very close to Whidbey Island which is more widely known. This can be a good addition to your weekend plan spending time among beach state parks and driving through the countryside.
Places in this video
1. Barnum Point Preserve - This beach is at the end of a 1 mile trail and is very scenic, you can have a nice walk along the beach.
2. Cama Beach Historical state park - This is in the list of washington state parks and all the cabins/camping sites are very close to the beach, definitely more scenic than the first place. Beautiful place to watch sunset.
Another place that's worth visiting here is the Canopy Tours NW Zipline adventures. Be mindul that they have busy schedule and is worth making an booking beforehand, unfortunately we didn't do this. Other notable places can be the Cranberry lake and Axe Throwing place.
