Описание: Our customer Transnet Port Terminals ‪@Transnet-tptNet‬ has welcomed a new Liebherr STS crane at Port Elizabeth Container Terminal. The ship to shore crane with a 20 m span, 52 m outreach and 19 m back reach will enhance port efficiency, and support key Eastern Cape industries.

Located in Algoa Bay, the terminal handles containers, breakbulk, bulk and vehicles, serving as a vital gateway for regional trade. The container section alone has an annual capacity of about 400,000 TEU, with 22 hectares of storage and 5,400 ground slots. Equipped with multiple berths and modern handling equipment, the terminal ensures fast cargo turnaround and smooth operations for local businesses and exports alike.

Designed for reliability and performance, the new Liebherr ship to shore crane offers exceptional stability even in strong winds and features advanced anti-sway technology for precise and safe container handling. The ergonomic operator cabin provides comfort and full control, allowing operators to work efficiently during long shifts.
