How to: separate soles for a sole swap.

This is how I break down the individual components of the sneakers I use in my sole swap. I primarily use heat from the steam gun and pressure from a bone folder with SPARSE hits of acetone. This allows me to best preserve all of the parts I’m going to use on my projects without damaging them.

There are HUNDREDS of other methods that can be used but for me, this has been the most consistently successful and has caused the least damage with sole removals.
