ACTS 5 Active Faith June 28, 2000 (Video Corrupted)

Описание: THE BOOK OF ACTS: John the Baptist said I indeed baptized you with water
but HE [Jesus] will Baptize you with the Holy Spirit.  
When Jesus sent out His disciples, as recorded in the gospels,
He gave them authority to do works that He Himself was doing,
the Book of Acts is the continuation of that work.  

NOTE:
Both the Gospel of Luke and The Books of Acts
were written by the physician named Luke.

The key verses are:
Jesus said: “behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you:
but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high”.
Luke 24:49
&
Acts 1:8  “But ye shall receive power,
after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses
unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria,
and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”
Jesus said: “you will receive power [the Holy Spirit] to be witnesses unto me [the Spirit filled life]…
to the uttermost parts of the earth [and here we are the fulfillment of that promise]”.  

On one occasion Jesus gave this testimony to John the Baptist:
“Go and show John again those things which ye do hear and see: the blind receive their sight,
and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up,
and the poor have the gospel preached to them.
And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.”
Matthew 11:4-6 

Jesus also testified:
“The works that I do you shall do…” (see John 14:12). 

This Book could easily be call the The Acts of The Holy Spirit
for as Jesus told us in the gospel of John “…when the Comforter is come,
whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, [The Holy Spirit]
which proceedeth from the Father, He shall testify of me:” 15:26
Jesus said it “the Spirit HE will testify of me”, 
and that testimony is accompanied with signs and wonders
which always go hand in hand with the preaching and acceptance of the Gospel.
