Описание: We went to the Bridger Range to look at the stability of the recent snow and the persistent weak layer near the ground. Both were not reactive in stability tests, and avalanche activity was minimal, but we did get a few fresh drifts of the recent snow to crack under skis. A few drifts may remain unstable tomorrow, but most will stabilize quickly. An avalanche on the weak snow near the ground has become less likely, but it is still not ruled out. It is worth digging to look for and test this weak layer if you plan to travel on steep slopes.
