SAAB GRIPEN E

Gripen E nähdään nyt ensimmäistä kertaa esityslennolla lentonäytöksessä Suomessa. Kesällä 2020 monitoimihävittäjä oli esillä maanäyttelyssä Kauhavan lentonäytöksessä, mutta sillä ei ollut erikseen esityslentoa. Esityslennon lentää Saabin lentokonetehtaan koelentäjä André Brännström. Hänen varaesityslentäjänään ja valvojana toimii Saabin pääkoelentäjä Markus Wandt.

Saab tarjoaa aktiivisesti seuraavaa Gripen E monitoimihävittäjää Suomen Ilmavoimille HX – hävittäjähankkeessa Hornetin seuraajaksi. Gripen E on täysin uusi versio Gripenistä, vaikka ulkoisesti näyttääkin tutulta. Koneen suorituskyky on noussut täysin uudelle tasolle ja se on myös kooltaan hieman suurempi kuin nykyinen Gripen C. HX-hävittäjähankkeen lisäksi Gripen E on ehdolla mm. Kanadan, Intian ja Kolumbian seuraavaksi hävittäjäksi.

The Kaivopuisto Airshow 2021 returned to Helsinki seafront on Friday evening, August 6th, 2021. The show featured both civil aviation classics and today’s equipment. In addition to Friday, the ground exhibition was open on Saturday, 7th of August. The event was free and open to everyone.

Kaivopuiston lentonäytös 2021 lennettiin Helsingin edustalla perjantai-iltana 6.8. klo 16-21. Näytöksessä esiintyi niin siviili-ilmailun klassikoita kuin nykypäivän kalustoa. Maanäyttely oli avoinna perjantain lisäksi lauantaina 7.8. Kaivari 21 oli Suomen Ilmailuliiton päälentonäytös vuonna 2021.
