Описание: Here is side B of a mid-1962 single on Carnival Records by Herb Alpert using his oldest son's name Dore. "Fallout Shelter" was written by Herb and Frank D'Amico. Frank also wrote "The Story Of An Evergreen Tree" with Herb, which was sung by The Kenjolairs (Ken Mowery, Joe Campbell & Larry New) and released on A&M 704. The recording date of "Fallout Shelter" is believed to have been around July 1962. At that time Herb had befriended Leon Russell, who he'd met at The Crossbow Inn, a joint where Hollywood musicians hung out and jammed onstage. It is also believed that Leon and his high school pal David Gates are on this. For more info, see the video for Dore Alpert's "Tell It To The Birds" on this YouTube channel.
