Follow along as I process the Rosette Nebula with a monochrome astronomy camera using a combination of narrowband Ha and Oiii filters. I'll show how to use just an HOO image to create a third, synthetic green channel to emulate the look of an actual SHO image. I'm now using PiMagic Studio to automate much of the repetitive tasks that don't involve any creative decisions. That leaves more time to focus on the fun, creative parts!
