🛣️ Full Road Journey from Muglin to Kathmandu
Muglin is one of Nepal’s busiest trade junctions, where three major highways meet — one leading to Pokhara, another to Narayanghat (Chitwan), and the third one to Kathmandu. The route to Kathmandu, known as the Prithvi Highway, is one of Nepal’s most historic and heavily traveled roads.

As you start the journey from Muglin, the road runs beautifully along the Trishuli River. Though the road is narrow, the scenery is absolutely breathtaking — green hills on one side, the river on the other, and winding roads in between — a perfect setup for drone shots and cinematic vlog moments.

The first major stop is Kurintar, home to the famous Manakamana Cable Car. Many travelers take a short tea or snack break here. After that, the road continues through Kalesti, Fishling, and Chaucer, where the climb gradually begins.

Around Fishling, you’ll find small roadside restaurants, natural waterfalls, and local fruit stalls — perfect visuals to highlight in your vlog.
Then comes Belkotgadhi and Gajuri Bazaar — this section of the road is relatively wider and smoother. Gajuri is an important stop with gas stations, hotels, and a police checkpoint.
After Gajuri, the road passes through Malkhu, Benighat, and Dhadingbesi junction, becoming steeper and more winding as it ascends into the hills. Here, you slowly leave the Trishuli River behind and drive through green mountain slopes.
The Gajuri–Galchi section is often busy with trucks and buses. Galchi is another major junction — one road goes toward Narayanghat and another straight toward Kathmandu.
From Galchi, the highway passes through Benighat, Baireni, and Nagdhunga — this stretch is often busy with heavy vehicles and road maintenance work. Once you reach Baireni, you can already feel the cool air of the Kathmandu Valley.

Finally, after crossing the Nagdhunga Pass, the entire Kathmandu Valley opens up in front of you — a panoramic view of green hills surrounding the city. From there, the road descends through Sisnekhola, Thankot, and Kalanki, leading right into the heart of the capital.
