Holding true to the core essence of a brand that has been around for over 140 years, a black stallion which is a brand icon is further used to symbolize the trust of its customers.

For the very first time, an international tyre manufacturer, Continental has embarked on using a black stallion in its television commercial. The 30-second brand commercial, which was shot within Asia Pacific is known as the Stallion and will be screened from June this year.

The Hanover horse, a thoroughbred, with its muscular, ebony steed charged on in the Continental's new brand commercial with a brave young girl at the reins. They go on a journey across the city, highways and winding trunk roads and to the water's edge, experiencing the challenges and the performance.

Throughout the commercial, the horse and the girl is featured with a strong bond that is entrenched, which depicts the trust and confidence that millions of drivers worldwide have placed in Continental. The commercial captures the horse with its agility and performance closely linked to the tyre's performance. The rider's safety is the key feature as the horse symbolizes confidence and being in perfect control.

The tyre with strong German influence, high quality German technology and know-how is further reinforced in the tagline, Continental, Tyres -- Engineered in Germany.

Commenting on the new brand TV commercial, Mr. Benoit Henry, Chief Executive Officer of Continental Sime Tyre Sdn.
