Had a look at the Celtic Society Highland Ball programme (my.strathspey.org/dd/list/66313/) and never heard of one of the dances?
The Fundamental Owl was devised in 2025 by Celtic dance teachers Alex Bonfield and Sandy Johnston and uses a variation on an old John Drewry progression.
In the video, dancers from the society demonstrate the dance, and explain the progression.
We look forward to dancing this and many others on March 7th in Younger Hall!
