All of the Throttle Body EFI conversion kits on the market, no matter if they're Holley Sniper, MSD Atomic, Fitech or any of the others have the same basic premise. They are supposed to be direct replacement for carburetors to be mounted on carburetor intake manifolds.
There's a problem with this in that two different eras of induction evolution are being combined, and the result is that most people who make the switch find that overall performance is not up to their expected standards no matter how much tuning and tweaking they do.
Here's the basic flaw in the combining of these two systems, and some of the things you can do to help the EFI system match the performance of the carburetor it replaced.
