Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu visited the Polavaram project today. He was welcomed by several ministers and MLAs upon his arrival. During the visit, the CM is personally checking the progress of the construction, including the Coffer Dam and the Buttress Dam.
He is also inspecting the work at Gap 1 and Gap 2, as well as the diaphragm wall, which is almost finished. After looking at the construction, the CM will hold a meeting with officials at the site. He plans to discuss the project’s next step and give instructions on rehabilitation and help for the people who had to move because of the project.
