Rutgers has launched a new PhD Track in Biomedical Informatics and Health AI (BMAI) within the Multidisciplinary PhD Program in Biomedical Sciences.
In this video, Program Director Dr. Antonina Mitrofanova (Rutgers School of Health Professions; Rutgers Center for Biomedical Informatics and Health AI) introduces the track’s three-pillar curriculum—experimental biology and medicine, AI foundations, and applied Health AI across areas such as multimodal AI, precision medicine, translational research, digital health and rehabilitation, and smart/connected health.
The track is a collaboration between the Rutgers School of Graduate Studies, Rutgers School of Health Professions, and the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), supported by the Rutgers Center for Biomedical Informatics and Health AI (BMIHAI).
