I spent 14 hours camping in a bivvy bag for the first time, with no tent and nowhere to escape the weather. The persistent rain got though the "waterproof" bivvy bag during the night, soaking me and my gear.
Although wet, I felt very immersed in nature and stargazed for most of the evening.
