777 Control Column Autopilot

So here you see the autopilot trying to steer the aircraft. It's parked, so of course it can't do that, but it will try! The autopilot works with a feedback loop. You order a heading, and the autopilot will give control input and reacts accordingly to the data it's waiting for. It doesnt see anything happen here so it will move the yoke way over to still make things happen.
Some people seem to be very convinced this is fake. I tell you it is not. No one else is moving the yoke but the autopilot. This yoke still has control hardware going down to the avionics bay, where some actuators connect to the yokes to make them move. In an older Boeing with full flight control cables the autopilot actuators would have moved the cables and therefore the yoke. In the 777 control cables still connect the stabilizer trim and outboard spoilers. Still, fitting Boeing's philosophy, the yoke does move to show the current control inputs.
