Ukrainian Armed Forces are conducting effective counterattacks in the Huliaipole area. Defense forces are holding certain lines and positions, disrupting the enemy's plans, and inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment. Along the front line from Huliaipole to Ternovatoye, the occupiers' activity has decreased. Enemy morale has plummeted, allowing Ukrainian fighters to conduct cleanup operations and advance toward potential enemy positions.
Ivan Sekach , head of communications for the 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade, told Channel 24 this , noting that this occurred amid the Starlink outage. However, the real reason for the Russians' disappearance remains unknown. Just a few weeks ago, the enemy was actively attacking the Aleksandrovsk sector. However, the situation has since changed.
“The Russians have disappeared, and there's almost no activity. Our FPV can see between one and three occupiers in a single day. It's difficult to explain where they went”, he emphasized.
At the same time, according to the head of the communications department, it's clear that the enemy is under increasing psychological pressure. Recently, four occupiers captured three Ukrainian soldiers, but during negotiations, the Ukrainian side persuaded the enemy to withdraw without killing them. Three Russians returned, and one dropped his machine gun and voluntarily surrendered. This indicates that the enemy army is being forced to fight; they have no objective. Against this backdrop, Ukrainian defenders are conducting stabilization operations, assisted by a robotic village reconnaissance unit. While clearing the gray zone, it turns out there is no enemy presence further along the front . Moreover, the Russian army's reduced activity may have been influenced, in part, by the shutdown of Starlink communications. However, this did not completely shut down the enemy. Sekach noted that the Russians have already found alternatives to satellite communications, so they can continue to use a large number of drones.
Colonel Vladislav Voloshin, a spokesman for the Southern Defense Forces says that Russian occupation army is not relenting in its pressure on the Huliaipole front in the Zaporizhia region , where fierce fighting continues. The enemy is actively attempting to dislodge the Ukrainian Armed Forces from Huliaipole, but is failing. In this direction, the intensity of military operations is one of the highest along the entire front as a whole. "The enemy is trying to finally push our fighters out of Gulyaipole, but they are failing," Voloshin noted.
A representative of the Southern Ukrainian Defense Forces noted that the enemy is also attacking settlements located near Huliaipole—Zheleznodorozhne, Zelenoye, and Varvarovka . However, the Russians are making no progress.
The situation near Huliaipole in the Zaporizhia region remains tense and complex. Russian units continue intense fighting and are attempting to break through Ukrainian forces' defensive lines.
According to available information, the occupiers have transferred additional forces from the territory of the Kherson region , which has increased the pressure on this sector of the front.
At the same time, Ukrainian troops were able to stabilize the defense and are conducting counterattacks to prevent further enemy advancement.
There is currently no immediate threat to Zaporizhzhia, but the situation on this section of the front remains tense.
