Suppose you are using a data format in excel and you need to reset the data every time. Unless you want to do it manually it's better to create a clear button in Excel. I’ve showed this type of tutorial already here they are:

But this tutorial is different. What if your selected data has formulas in it. If you remove the value your formulas will also be removed. This is why I’ve created a vba code so that you can use it and clear cell content in Excel but keep the formula.

Let’s follow the instructions below to clear contents in excel without deleting formulas using vba.

Step 1: Click on the Developer tab (Learn to Add Developer Tab In Excel:    • How to add developer tab in excel  )
Step 2: Click on Visual Basic
Step 3: Click "Insert" and then "Module"
Step 4: Write the code (Please subscribe and here goes the code:   / 53225159  )

Step 5: Close the VBE

Now that you’ve created a button, click on it. It will ask for the data range. After selecting the data range click ok. Done. Now excel will clear cells but keep the formula from your selected data range. This is how you clear contents in excel without deleting formula.
