The inaugural R&D Adoption Award was developed by the National Vegetable Extension Network (VegNET) in Victoria as part of the 2017 AUSVEG VIC Awards for Excellence.
The award recognises the R&D adoption achievements of growers as a result of the extension activities undertaken by the projects to promote cross-regional collaboration and learning.
The National Vegetable Extension Network (VegNET) Project is delivered locally in the Northern, Western and South-Eastern regions of Victoria by RMCG through VG15048 and in Gippsland by the East Gippsland Food Cluster through VG15047, funded by Horticulture Innovation Australia Limited using the vegetable industry levy and funds from the Australian Government.
