Garden Centre Have World's Largest Gnome Collection

A garden centre have taken on the world's largest gnome collection worth a staggering £100,000.

Merry Harriers Garden Centre in Bideford, North Devon, took on the collection of over 2,500 gnomes at the beginning of the year after Guinness World Record Holder Ann Atkin could no longer take care of the garden ornaments.

The centre wanted to carry on the popular Gnome Reserve that recently shut down and set about creating their own - with plans to create a day attraction.

The team at Merry Harriers started the process of moving the gnomes at the beginning of the year and after more than 30 trips, the entire collection of over 2,500 gnomes had been moved.
