For about the last month I've been getting the hang of my new 20" psi hoops, which I must add are absolute heaven. I have been interested in giving texture to my space through different manipulation techniques as well as exploring the personification of energy I apply to the hoop and letting the relationship unfold. A lot of the sitting practices are as much meditative as they are instructional on what is possible for movement and dance, when all I have to express is through "limited" (in the realm of space, not possibility) manipulation. Focused more on the visualization of expressive energy, which is informed by the music I listen to and the way I am inspired to move.
On a side note, I can't wait to bring these hoops home to the playa! :)
