This year for International Women's Day, find out a little about a new pilot project that SEED Madagascar is running in the Sainte Luce area of southeast Madagascar. With leadership from Paula, our Project Mahampy Coordinator, and Myrah, a talented sewing trainer and designer, the initiative is trialling a new reusable menstruation pad, and training women to make and use them. Through this work, that also challenges misconceptions around menstrual cycles, Paula, Myrah, and the 166 female weavers we worth with are all leading the way to a fairer future for the women’s and girls of Sainte Luce.
