he Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), Amritsar, facilitated the transfer of Afghan Hindus and Sikhs from the distressed Islamic nation to India in coordination with the Indian World Forum and the Centre.
A special flight from Kabul to Delhi arrived at 11.30am on Thursday.
The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
