Resuming with the tail end of Jade Earth. Wow apparently there were intermittent frame drops the whole time that I didn't even know about until near the end of the night, sorry! No one told me and the previous stream was fine :(
Also, please enjoy ASMR Mode at 21:39 and 2:40:10.

It's over. It's finally over.
[00:12:21] #46 — E2M1 and E2M2 of Aliens TC ("The Landing Pads", "Atmospheric Processor") by Justin Fisher: https://www.doomworld.com/idgames/the...
This is so ancient that it has its own ad-hoc setup for patching doom.exe, and did not work correctly at first with GZDoom; I had to track down an updated version (mislabeled as the original on http://www.doomwadstation.net/main/al...) and try it again starting from 40:42. But for being from 1994, in so many ways, it is a weird masterpiece.
[00:59:09] #45 — MAP27 of Scythe 2 ("Afterlife II") by Erik Alm: https://www.doomworld.com/idgames/lev...
Yeah, that's me. You're probably wondering how I got in this situation, of playing a late Scythe 2 map. Well, they put it on the list, so now I have to play it. It has a rough start, and it's definitely the sort of map where some of the initial difficulty is in figuring out the routing, but once it got going I started having a pretty okay time. A beautiful and oppressive spectacle.
[1:59:09] #43 — Putrefier by Ed Cripps: https://www.doomworld.com/idgames/lev...
I have some objections to the way the progression unfolds here, but the architecture, atmosphere, aesthetic, and traps are all top-notch. I can't even imagine the amount of annoying fiddling that must've gone into this. I wish we saw more fancy GZDoom maps that weren't TCs.
[02:57:31] #44 — MAP04 ("Warp of Time") of Hell Ground by Eternal: https://www.doomworld.com/idgames/lev...
This is less of a map and more of an experience. Absolutely gorgeous. I will say that I'm glad I accidentally did it in the order that I did, or it might've been fiendishly difficult early on.
[03:52:16] #42 — MAP31 ("Festering Wicked Helix Sectors") of Resurgence by Joshy: https://www.doomworld.com/idgames/lev...
Skip to 3:56:25 for the part where I realize OBS has lost track of the window, ahem. Absolutely brutal start, but it started to flow really well once I found a real weapon. Love the funny time-travel bit at the end (though it seems a shame that that was a one-way trip), and the ending is a true spectacle without being frustrating. Maybe it was just intended to be played in a continuous run.
