[Gospel of Mark — 15-Minute Journey]
In a world longing for hope,
comes a story of urgency, compassion, and power.
This is the Gospel of Mark —
a Savior on the move.
1. The Beginning – Mark 1
A voice in the wilderness.
John calls hearts to repentance.
Then Jesus arrives—not in royal robes, but with heaven’s approval:
“You are My beloved Son.”
Driven into the wilderness.
Tested for 40 days.
But not defeated.
He begins His mission.
“Follow Me.”
And fishermen drop everything to follow Him.
2. Miracles & Compassion – Mark 2–5
Jesus touches the untouchable.
A leper says, “If You’re willing…”
Jesus answers, “I am willing.”
He heals. He restores.
Crowds gather.
Storms obey.
Demons flee.
Where Jesus goes, hope follows.
3. Teaching & Tension – Mark 4–8
He teaches in parables.
“A sower scattered seed...”
Some hearts receive it. Some resist.
Religious leaders question Him.
But Jesus eats with sinners, touches the broken, and sees the unseen.
He redefines greatness.
4. The Road to Jerusalem – Mark 8–10
Jesus warns,
“The Son of Man will suffer... and rise again.”
The disciples don’t understand.
He teaches:
“Greatness is serving.”
Blind Bartimaeus cries out:
“Son of David, have mercy!”
Jesus stops—and heals.
Then He enters Jerusalem,
not on a war horse, but on a donkey.
The crowd shouts “Hosanna!”
But it won't last.
5. The Cross – Mark 14–15
At the table, Jesus breaks bread:
“This is My body… My blood.”
In Gethsemane, He prays:
“Not My will, but Yours.”
Then—betrayal.
Judas. A kiss.
Soldiers. A trial.
Mockery. Beatings.
They crown Him with thorns.
He carries the cross.
On Golgotha, they crucify Him.
Darkness falls.
“My God, why have You forsaken Me?”
And finally…
“It is finished.”
6. The Resurrection – Mark 16
At dawn, women visit the tomb.
The stone is rolled away.
A voice says:
“He is not here. He is risen.”
Jesus appears—alive.
He comforts. He restores.
He gives a mission:
“Go into all the world. Preach the gospel.
Then He ascends.
Mark ends with action, not conclusion.
Jesus is alive.
And now, it’s our turn.
This is more than a story.
It’s a call to follow the Savior—still moving today.
