The Gimlet's history can be traced back all the way to 1867 to when the British government mandated that merchant ships had to stock ratios of lime juice to prevent scurvy.
You can enjoy the recipe below or try the adapted version using fresh ingredients- gin, lime juice and simple syrup
INGREDIENTS
2 oz / 60 ml London dry gin or Plymouth gin
2/3 oz / 22.5 ml house-made lime cordial
