Monday Musing 49 | Rangoni Shoes and COPPA

Описание: This week I went to a customer appreciation party at Amalfi by Rangoni in Cameron Village Shopping Center in Raleigh, NC. Mr. and Mrs. Rangoni flew in from Italy for a visit, and Mrs. Rangoni prepared one of her family dishes in the store. It turns out that under YouTube's new COPPA rules not only can your channel not be too child friendly, it also can't be too adult. Several YouTube gurus advised taking down any videos using any words in the title, thumbnail, or dialog that may seem too risque or risk having your channel completely removed. I took down a video entitled "Louis Vuitton Needs to See My ..." which was a video on how Louis Vuitton requires us to separate ourselves by men and women so they can limit which products we may purchase. I also discuss the future of my channel. Next year I will focus even more on jewelry. Of course I will also cover other aspects of design including luxury handbags. I will be downsizing next year so I'm asking whether you would like to see decluttering videos. As a jewelry designer I always like to focus on jewelry, but I also want to make sure that I am making videos that you want to see. This is your chance to let me know what that is!
