1. 📚 List of Participating Universities
According to official and credible sources, the scholarship is available at all public higher education institutions in Portugal, including but not limited to:

University of Lisbon
University of Porto
University of Coimbra
NOVA University Lisbon
University of Aveiro
University of Minho
University of Algarve
Instituto Superior Técnico (in Lisbon)
Instituto Superior de Agronomia (under the University of Lisbon)
Polytechnic Institute of Porto and others
Instituto Superior de Agronomia – offers research master’s scholarships in forestry and agricultural sciences


🧾 . Prepare Documents
Most applications require:

Completed online application form
Academic transcripts & degree certificates
Proof of language proficiency (IELTS/TOEFL or alternative evidence if prior degree in English/Portuguese)
CV/résumé
Motivation letter (500–1,000 words)
Research proposal (for postgraduate, especially PhD)
2 letters of recommendation
Passport copy & passport‑sized photo
Additional documents as specified by the university or DGEA

💻 . Submit University Application
Apply directly via the target institution’s admission portal (June–August).
Once pre‑accepted, proceed to the scholarship application.

⏳ . Selection & Timeline
Shortlisting and review from October to December 2025.
Results are typically announced in late December 2025 or early 2026.
Successful candidates receive a visa support letter by May/June 2026.
Confirm enrollment by June 30, 2026, and arrive in Portugal by August–September 2026.

💶 . Know the Benefits
If awarded, you’ll receive:
Full tuition waiver for the study duration.
Monthly stipend of around €1,250 (10 installments).
Health insurance, visa support, orientation programs, and sometimes Portuguese language training.
