STEPS TO APPLY COLOR SPLASH EFFECT ON SNAPSEED :-

---Step 1: Open Desired Image in Snapseed

---Step 2: Applying B&W Filter
Tap on the edit icon and using your finders scroll down to the preset filters and click on the "Black & White" filter on the list.
Once in the filter setting choose the desired black and white effect. In this tutorial, we will use the "normal" filter. When you are happy with the look, apply the filter by clicking on the check mark on the bottom left-hand corner.

---Step 3: Going to the Brush Settings
On the top left-hand corner, there are 3 icons: the share, the layer setting and the app settings. Click on the middle icon and select the "View edits" menu option.
In the "View edits" window, all your filters will show up on the bottom left-hand corner of the screen. Click on the "Black & White" filter and select the middle icon which represents the brush tool for that specific filter.

---Step 4: Setting Up the Brush Tool
Once in the brush settings click the "Invert" button to activate it. Decrease the "Black & White" parameter to 0 and finally activate the mask option to view the mask.
The invert will show you how the image will look like when the filter is applied to image.
The "Black & White" parameter represents the amount of filter that will be applied to the image.
The mask will show you where on the image the filter was applied. Everything that is red means that the filter was applied to that location on the image. In the case of the second image above the filter was applied to the entire image.

---Step 5: Using Brush Tool
Using your fingers start to colour the desired object/colour you want to preserve. In this tutorial, we will use the flower. Zoom in by pinching the screen and this will change the brush size to get fine details of the image.
If you color more than the desired object/colour, increase the "Black & White" parameter to 100 and paint back the filter.
A finished product should look like the final image above.
Once complete apply the brush filter by clicking on the check mark at the bottom left-hand corner.

---Step 6: Finished
Export the image by clicking done located on the top left-hand corner of the screen.
