YEAR 2 TIMELAPSE Building Our Own Home

Описание: We are a couple building a debt-free, high-performance home. This video is the SECOND year of work on the project.

To keep it debt-free, we have to do it in two stages: a garage apartment, then a main house addition. We have designed everything ourselves with building science in mind, focusing on water management, airtightness, insulation, and indoor air quality. We are doing the majority of work on this project ourselves to save money that goes towards high quality materials.
