Youth Ethics Table: Taking Action | 2021 WNET Youth Collective Summit

Описание: Our final session of the 2021 WNET Youth Collective Summit was all about taking action. UN Youth Observer Dustin Liu, National Youth Poet Laureate Meera Dasgupta, and civil rights activist Nia White discussed the work as youth leaders. Participants also attended workshop breakouts with organizations including Carnegie Hall's Youth Truth, Diversify Our Narrative, ERASE Racism, Films BYkids, Games for Change, JUV Consulting, NYC Votes, Peril and Promise, The Trevor Project, and the United Nations Association of the USA, about how young people can take action given their unique interests. The session wrapped up with a performance by Meera Dasgupta of her poem “Lineage,” and a surprise performance of the song “Rise Up” by student Mateo Lizcano from the Frank Sinatra School of the Arts.
