Multiple Linear Regression using Excel | Predict Sales using Marketing Spends

Описание: A marketing manager wants to know what is the right marketing spends mix to get optimum Sales using the 80k budget he has. We are going to build a Linear Machine Learning Model to build a relationship between Sales and Marketing Spends and help the marketing manager decide his mix. This modelling technique is also known as the Marketing Mix Model.

All of the steps are visual. This video, is good for those who want to build their intuition of how Linear Regression is used.

We use the Data Analysis Toolpak within Excel to build the model.

Post building the model, we will calculate the performance metrics such Sum of Squared Error, Mean of Squared Error, Root Mean Squared Error and Mean Absolute Percentage Error.
