Описание: The following short movie depicts scenes of a HOe operating model of the Wittower Train Ferry and scenes on how the Ferry was operated in 2002. By 2002, the Ferry no longer carried trains but only cars, bikes and hikers. The old ferry carrying trains can still be seen. The Wittower Train Ferry connected Rügen with the Wittower Peninsula, thereby linking Putbus by narrow gauge with Altenkirchen, the largest village on the Wittower Peninsula. The line from Putbus to Altekirchen is defunct.
