SUBWAY TRAIN ‘KIDNAPPED:’ Think your commute was bad today? Back in October 1984, a subway conductor was accused of “kidnapping” passengers on a train and holding them hostage for 2 ½ hours. Passengers said the subway conductor said “you [expletive] [expletive], aren’t going anywhere. now you’re going for a ride!” The TA said passengers were told to get off the train and refused, and they got nasty back -- and should have been arrested!
