In mid October I took myself off on a solo adventure, backpacking and wild camping the first three days of the Pennine Way.
Things didn't go according to plan... but valuable lessons were learnt along the way!
The plan was to walk from Edale to Hebden Bridge, but I underestimated the toughness of the terrain, especially when carrying full camping gear for an Autumn camp. There are some seriously steep climbs on this section, but some spectacular views as well.
