The virus has disrupted the normal way of life for everyone, including daily wagers living in rural areas of Uttar Pradesh. NDTV’s Alok Pandey talked to daily wagers and local residents of Mahura Khurd, a village about 30 kms away from Lucknow, on what challenges they are currently facing due to the lockdown. While farmers feel that they can only delay the harvesting for a few days, daily wagers say they have no idea how they are going to survive without money.
