During the opening of the last Cannes Film Festival, Thomas Cailley presented his feature film at Un Certain Regard selection: Le Règne Animal. To bring this spectacular work to life, the director called on Andrea Laszlo De Simone, the Italian artist who gained recognition in 2020 with his cult mini-album ‘Immensità’.

The composer puts his signature on it, blending acoustic, electronic, and classical elements. All of this results in a powerful musical composition which was conducted on the film's tonality, its naturalism and the narrative of a universal mythology.

Andrea composed and recorded alone at the Ecce Homo studio in Turin and then surrounded himself with the musicians of the Immensità Orchestra to add strings, winds, and choirs. This original soundtrack then becomes a living, sensual, and organic experience.
