Method 1: Turn OFF TalkBack via Settings

Step 1: Launch the Settings app by swiping up with two fingers to access the app drawer, then select Settings and double tap on it to open.

To navigate, you will need to use two fingers to scroll. You will also need to select an item to highlight it and double tap to open.

Step 2: Next, scroll down with two fingers and select "Accessibility & Convenience". Here, select the "Accessibility" option. Ensure you're on the 'Vision' category. Here, you should see the "TalkBack" option. Tap on it.

Step 3: Select the "TalkBack" option, then double tap to toggle the switch off. A pop-up will appear asking you to confirm you want to disable it.

Step 4: Select "Turn Off" to confirm. TalkBack will now be inactive.

Method 2: Disable TalkBack via Shortcut

If the TalkBack shortcut is enabled, simply press and hold both Volume Up and Volume Down buttons for about 3 seconds. You will hear a prompt confirming that TalkBack is off.

Method 3: Turn OFF TalkBack via Switch

Step 1: To turn off TalkBack, you can tap on the TalkBack switch and wait for a prompt saying the switch has been focused. Then , double tap on the switch.

Step 2: In the dialog box displayed, tap on "Stop", then double tap on the button to stop TalkBack.
