Doom 3: Phobos Any% Segmented Speedrun in

Описание: Recently I fell in love with a mod called Doom 3 Phobos and I wanted to see if I could create a segmented speedrun of it because in my playthroughs I got a few ideas for cool strategies that could potentially be implemented. Besides, a speedrun of this mod did not exist previously and I assume nobody even thought of trying to speedrun it, so instead of competing with other people, I wanted to actually create a speedrun from scratch.
Little did I know that most of the levels in all 3 episodes of the mod (so far) had so many skips, sequence breaks, grabber boosts and jumps just waiting to be discovered and pulled off.

In this speedrun I used the grabber’s boosting potential even more than in my RoE segmented speedrun.

I REMOVED ALL CUTSCENES and story levels for your viewing pleasure and subtracted them from the final time.

I did speedrun the entire mod, but out of the entire speedrun that is nearly 2 hours long, only about 40 minutes is actual gameplay. Everything else consists of unskippable cutscenes and story levels that you can’t really speed up.
That is why I decided to edit the speedrun like this instead of uploading the full version of the run.

This run took slightly longer than 2 months to complete from start to finish, including finding all the strategies, incorporating them, recording segments and putting them together.

At 35:15, this segment cut makes the run basically invalid for any leaderboard because I somehow failed to notice that I made a mistake and loaded the wrong save, but it doesn’t matter much since I actually did not gain anything from it.
After the cut, you can see that I have a different weapon in hand and that my health and armor values are different as well. Somehow I just failed to notice this when I was putting these segments together.
Regardless, this run is not going on any leaderboards anyways, so I decided to leave it in, flawed as it is.

When recording segments for this speedrun, I did not focus on chasing perfect execution because I did not set any time goal for myself. I just wanted to somewhat cleanly incorporate all the skips I found into the run.
That being said, I present to you my Doom 3 Phobos cutsceneless speedrun done in 37 segments with a time of 40min 24.331sec.
