Hello Friends! I have been a huge fan of the Lord of the Rings movies, ever since they came out when I was a kid. In fact, they are the main reason why I became a propmaker! I went to see each one in the theatre multiple times, and when the extended editions came out with all the behind-the-scenes bonus features, I would prop myself up in front of the TV and not move all weekend until I had watched and rewatched every featurette.

I now had the time to make this Uruk-Hai General Helmet from The Two Towers, I wished it had made the films, it would have been very impressive on the big screen. But at least Weta released their model collectible!

UPDATE (10/13)
I want to make a correction to my above statement, and to my comments in the video.
Thanks to "Tommy" on therpf.com, he was able to spot, in the Extended Edition, where the helmet is visible for a split second. The time marker is 3:05:11. I have watched this countless times and somehow I missed it!!! This just goes to prove that every time you watch the movies you can get something new out of them!
