WOW!!!! Deconstructed Bloom Part II | Acrylic Pouring Bloom Technique (sort of 😉)

For those of you familiar with the Bloom Technique, you know that you need to put a pillow down which is usually house paint, however just like the previous one I just thickened up my acrylic paints that are mixed with plain old generic pouring medium. My colors are just my regular Amsterdam acrylics and again just using my pouring medium and then of course the black is mixed with Aussie Floetrol.

My goal for this series is to document my process and see if I can simplify the recipes to hopefully inspire someone ..... ANYONE ..... who feels intimidated to try, that its okay to just start with what you have! So please make sure to subscribe and turn on your notifications so that you now when the next video drops!

Some Tiffany Tips:
1) Mix enough pillow paint so you don't have to compromise the composition by having to over stretch the paint to cover the canvas
2) Tilt the canvas slowly so that the center of the painting has the opportunity to settle and level itself before tilting in another direction
3) Your pillow should be the thickest paint, your puddles should be just slightly less thicker and the top colour should be your thinnest
4) Never be afraid to try new technique, you could just make something beautiful!

As always, my paints are all Amsterdam Acrylics Standard Series mixed with some inexpensive pouring medium (no water added) and I mixed it to the right consistency which for this style of acrylic pouring I'm still trying to figure out ;)
